We Leave At Dawn
Essentially this is uninspired glam-indie with synths and clangy guitars and a singer with Robert Smith’s voice (after it broke).
If this band went back to its roots it would be 2004 when indie music was invented by the Killers and the Bravery. Essentially this is uninspired glam-indie with synths and clangy guitars and a singer with Robert Smith’s voice (after it broke). I hate this kind of music. It’s filled with the kind of highly polished production and studied passion which leave me strangely cold. If this is passion I have a bit of a headache and need an early night. I don’t understand why anyone would want to make music like this. I’d prefer to be an accountant myself. But there I go being excessively judgemental again. I mean, none of them are war criminals.
Key Track: ‘Promises’
