The band made a series of announcements via their twitter account this morning the main one being that their new self-titled White Album is due for release on April 1st.

Weezer announced two UK dates for April in support of the albums release and they also announced that would embark on a two month US tour with Panic at the Disco!. No other other dates have been announced so it waits to be seen whether or not they announce an Irish date.

Speaking on the bands Website River’s Como said “This album was inspired by my experiences hanging around the Westside of Los Angeles, which has been our home since Weezer began.”

"Hanging out with people in Venice and Santa Monica, the beach, the Hare Krishnas, the Sikh on roller blades with the guitar, girls on Tinder within a 4 mile radius, seeing other bands, etc."
