We are very excited to announce a special performance tonight from West Cork singer-songwriter Polly Barrett as part of the Hot Press Y&E series!

Presented in conjunction with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, the new series will feature an impressive total of 40 exclusive, intimate sets. You can watch Polly Barrett's performance tonight, October 12, at 7pm, streamed live on the Hot Press Instagram.

Currently based in West Cork, Barrett's third album Sapling Be.. was released in October to widespread critical acclaim. Exploring themes of motherhood and family, the album is fully dedicated to her young son. Saturated in Polly’s new home life, the record is imbued with her struggles as writer’s block got its angry claws into her and the ethereal, meditative peace she found and made for herself in West Cork as she navigates the path of motherhood.
