After a long wait, Westlife's first single in eight years has been released.
After announcing their comeback, reunion tour and a constant stream of extra dates due to demand, 2018 was a huge year for Westlife. But 2019 looks set to be even bigger for the boys after their new single 'Hello My Love' dropped today.
A teaser for the single was released on social media earlier this week, with Nicky Byrne tweeting a video of him and fellow members yesterday heralding the single's release.

Back in October, the boys spoke about what fans could expect from their new music, promising that it would be very 'now' and very 'Westlife'. "We are so excited for people to hear it when it does come. It's exactly where Westlife need to be musically, it's very current. It feels like a sound we've been looking for for a very long time," Shane Filan said.
And 'Hello My Love' has not disappointed.

Catchy, romantic and upbeat, the song retains all of the elements that made Westlife Westlife. The boys will also be performing their single on the Graham Norton Show this Friday.

The boys also said they are on track for a 2019 release for their new album. "Westlife 2.0 is about doing it right", Mark said. "At the rate we've been going so far I think it will be ready then [2019]. We're hitting the ground running and we're really excited by the few songs we've done".
