Black Country Communion, Them Crooked Vultures, Chickenfoot, Monsters Of Folk,,, the era of the supergroup is alive and kicking. News has reached HP of a similar local combo with a twist... Elevens are a four-piece outfit who marry original music and photographic projections to produce a potent sensory cocktail of epic proportions. Featuring the talents of Martin McCann of Sack fame, Brilliant Tree Tony Barrett, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club henchman Mark Healy and the photographic projections of Aidan Kelly (Candy Collective).
Omnichord, melodica, toy bells and sundry gadgets provide an extra aural dimension. We have been informed the live experience is unforgettable. See for yourself when they launch their debut EP at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin on April 23...

Dublin band GDC have been confirmed as support to Britpoppers Dodgy when they roll into Dublin on May 13 to play a show in the Turks Head. The band which features Keith Duignam (ex-Stone Ocean) and Aiden Smith (ex-Jezzebelle) have been creating quite a stir, expect an official release soon. Will keep you posted…

Dublin garage rockers Cheap Freaks have just unveiled their new single ‘Cruel World’ on Psycho Sound Records. The B-side of the release is ‘Asahara’s Nightmare’ and both tracks are taken from their upcoming debut album Bury Them All which hits the streets on May 6. The long-player will get a vinyl release in the US from Big Neck Records. See them supporting Beady Eye in the Olympia, Dublin (April 14 & 15) and the Ulster Hall, Belfast (17)!
