20-year-old singer-songwriter Eoin Devereux has released a music video to accompany his single, 'Cool Out'.

"'Cool Out' is a song that I wrote feeling overwhelmed," Enniscorthy native Devereux says of the track. "Being neurodiverse means I can't keep up with this fast-paced world, which can be hard sometimes. So this song is a reminder to myself to slow down and cool out."

Devereaux's soft vocals layer over a calming, guitar-based lo-fi instrumental, as he reminds himself to "Count to ten/let's go again/let's just cool out". The music video is filled with video effects reminiscent of classic photo-booth effects and old pixelated video games, as a low-frame rate Devereaux earnestly sings the lyrics.

Devereux began independently releasing music in 2021 with debut single ‘Going my own way’ . He shared a stripped back version of the track before following it up with ‘Fall And Save,’ ‘Falling Apart’ and 'Jigsaw.’2022 'Set My Eyes On You' was chosen as a Hot Press Track of the Day.

'Cool Out' marks his third released single of 2023, following tracks 'What A Friend You Were' and 'Lost In My Head'.
