The tour includes Chess Club Records' other newcomers Alfie Templeman, Phoebe Green and Coach Party.
Hot for 2020 band The Wha will play Chess Club Records' inaugural 'Class of 2020 Tour' this spring. The Kilkenny four-piece was signed to the label just before Christmas.
The 'Class of 2020 Tour' is the label's first-ever full scale U.K. tour, starting Friday 8 May in Glasgow and culminating on Wednesday 13 May in Bristol. The renowned independent label has been at the forefront of musical discovery over the last decade and more; responsible for releasing debut records from the likes of Wolf Alice, Jungle, MØ, Sundara Karma, Mumford & Sons, Billie Marten and Easy Life, among many others.
Other acts on the tour include some of the label's newest recruits, 17-year-old Bedfordshire talent Alfie Templeman, Manchester’s rising indie star Phoebe Green and Isle of Wight newcomers Coach Party.
