Rap powerhouse Nicki Minaj’s show at the 02 in London featured a setlist consisting of 35 songs, providing an indicator of what fans can expect at her upcoming Malahide Castle gig on Saturday, July 6.

The concert, which received rave reviews from local publications, saw the Trinidadian-born artist perform tracks from right across her five album discography - with multiple costume changes to boot.

It leaned heavily on her latest LP, with 15 of the songs coming from 2023’s Pink Friday 2. She wasn’t afraid to roll back the years either, with throwback hits ‘Super Bass’ and ‘Starships’ also featuring.

There were some guest appearances too. London rapper Giggs who delivered a rendition his hit 'Talkin’ da Hardest'. Elsewhere, Jamaican-UK dancehall MC Stylo G performed a duet with Minaj, while dancehall artist Beenie Man also showed up, celebrating Minaj's Caribbean background with a medley of songs.

There’s no guarantee that the setlist will be the identical when Minaj arrives on Irish shores this July. Her European shows have varied in length thus far. She played as many as 38 songs in Birmingham earlier this week, with the Amsterdam show a few days prior containing 27 songs in total.

Minaj’s most recent opus Pink Friday 2 saw her return to her roots, with the album acting as a sequel to her landmark 2010 debut - which achieved the largest sales week for a female hip-hop artist since Lauryn Hill in 1998.
