Limerick band Whenyoung's new single 'Dreams' is out now.
Following up on the pop punk threesome's previous release Heaven on Earth, the track is a cover of fellow Limerick band The Cranberries, whose lead singer Dolores O'Riordan died unexpectedly earlier this year at the age of 46.
Whenyoung's cover of the song has become a much-loved live favourite from the band. The trio (Aoife Power - vocals, Niall Burns - guitar, Andrew Flood - drums) played it last week during their headlining spot at All Together Now, showcasing dreamlike vocals over euphoric guitars.
Having already supported Nick Cave, Patti Smith, Peace and The Vaccines, and playing various festivals this year, Whenyoung will continue their UK and Ireland dates from September 2018. This includes an appearance at Electric Picnic Festival and The Workman's Club in Dublin.
