Where's The Music
It's the Scottish producer's exploration of deep techno and electro themes that provide the highlights
Soma’s Percy X might be one of Soma’s less high profile artists, but, he’s still one of the Scottish label’s most prolific artists, and this, his third artist albums shows that his sound continues to evolve. Percy’s harder side is represented by the album’s closing salvo – ‘Vox Digital’, Inbox’ and ‘Where’s The Music’, but it’s the Scottish producer’s exploration of deep techno and electro themes that provide the highlights. In particular, the glacial tones of ‘Now You’re Mine’, the Euro flavoured dance floor tones of ‘Club X’ and the jacking Motor City rhythms of ‘Afterplan’ proves that Percy X is still a force to be reckoned with.
