Such is the sorry state of the music industry right now that even when a couple of eyelinered rock chicks step forward with precious little other than a few borrowed Bon Jovi riffs and a certain amount of braggadocio, the music press go apoplectic. The Donnas may look arrestingly feminine, but alas that is where their charm begins and ends. Had this AC/DC-lite track been released by their male counterparts, the guys would still be sulking in their bedrooms after a slating for being derivative and dated. This track wouldn’t sound out of place on the soundtrack of ‘The Lost Boys’. A good or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.
