Over the past two years, the band have sold out Dublin's Olympia Theatre, played Electric Picnic's Main Stage, and scored a Top 5 position on the Irish Albums Chart with debut EP 'The Last Goodbye'.
Irish band Wild Youth featured as cover stars of the Hot Press 'Hot For 2019' Special Issue, a measure of the feeling in the industry at the time that this is a group for the long haul. Since then, Wild Youth have rapidly established themselves as one of the most thrilling acts in the country – as well as making significant strides internationally.
The homegrown quartet – comprised of lead vocalist David Whelan, Conor O’Donohoe, Ed Porter and Callum McAdam – racked in over 1.2 million streams on Spotify alone for their recent track 'Next To You'.
'Champagne Butterflies' is the latest song to come from the quartet, following recent single 'Through the Phone' in 2020 and 'Next To You'.
They describe their new single as "mixing funk grooves, slick synth production and euphoric 80s flavours"; creating undeniably one of their catchiest tracks.
