Ireland’s biggest student event returns to Leopardstown Racecourse this April 4th with a packed programme of horse racing, entertainment and great music. The Spin 1038 Student Raceday has been a 12,000 capacity event for the last two years and headliners Wild Youth look set to ensure a third sold out year at Leopardstown Racecourse.
The breakthrough band of 2017, Wild Youth have seen their first two singles ‘All or Nothing’ and ‘Lose Control’ clock up well in excess of one million streams, while the band finished a triumphant year playing alongside the likes of Niall Horan and Picture This.
The young quartet are no strangers to festival stages this early in their career, having already played the likes of Longitude, Indiependence and Sea Sessions. It’s with huge anticipation that Leopardstown Racecourse invites Wild Youth to play Student Raceday, taking place on Wednesday, April 4.
The Spin 1038 Student Raceday is an all ticket event and pre-purchase is required. Tickets start at only €12 and rise to €16 before the event. Gates are open at 1pm and the race card will feature seven races during the day, starting at 3.25pm, completing a vibrant afternoon of fun, sports, celebrity, fashion and music. The Best Dressed Guy & Gal Competition is once again supported by Jack & Jones & Vero Moda and there are fantastic prizes on offer for those who put in the extra effort.
Shuttle buses will run from DCU, UCD & Maynooth to Student Raceday, operated by JJ Kavanagh & Sons, while Leopardstown Racecourse is only 20 minutes from Dublin City Centre on the Luas Green line. Leopardstown is located off exit 14 or exit 15 on the M50 southbound or exit 15, M50 Northbound. Ample FREE parking is available onsite.
