It'll be 'A Christmas Miracle'.
The Word Up Collective has gone from strength to strength as a whole since its formation in 2016. Consisting of a host of like-minded artists and talents, the ensemble has opened up new platforms for its range of independent performers and groups in Dublin's urban scene, from hip-hop and RnB artists to spoken word poets.
The name itself is beginning to carry weight, and as well as that they regularly host events to showcase their own and other upcoming homegrown talent. 2018 has been no different, and has arguably been a year that has been the strongest to date for their roster both at home and abroad. To celebrate this, Word Up Collective has today announced a special Christmas show set for The Soundhouse in Dublin on December 19th.
The event will featuring some of the foremost artists of the troupe across each of the aforementioned scenes, including the likes of Super Silly - who is set to release new music in January through Believe Digital - and JyellowL - who is fresh off of being on tour with Nelly, is releasing a new EP this week and was recently provided our Track of the Day with 'Oh Lawd' - as well as many more.
