A big contingent from TV3, including Glenda Gilson and Aisling O’laughlin attended the wedding in Italy.
There’s no Electric Picnic this year for Lisa Cannon! Instead of heading for Stradbally, the Xposé star was married yesterday in the supremely romantic setting of Florence, in Italy.
The wedding – she tied the knot with long-term boyfriend Richard Neatly, who plays Rugby League in the UK – took place at the Villa San Michele in Florence. Fashionistas – of whom there were a few present! – noted that Cannon wore an ivory white gown by British designer Suzanna Neville, accompanied by Jimmy Choo shoes and what was described as "a cathedral-length two-tier veil."
She was accompanied up the aisle, to the tune of The Beatles ‘All You Need Is Love’, by her father Mick Cannon – who was among the most prolific scribes working with Hot Press during the early days of the magazine. The reception was attended by 105 guests, including Xposé anchors Glenda Gilson and Aisling O’Loughlin, the show’s producer Debbie O’Donnell, and presenters Sinéad Desmond and Sybil Mulcahy.
