He joins fellow Rap veterans Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on the roster of the newly-founded record label.
Xzibit is set to drop his first album in over a decade via Conor McGregor's Greenback Records label. Kingmaker arrives on October 11, with new track 'Play this At My Funeral' pegged as the project's lead single.
Xzibit’s biggest hit was 2002's Man vs. Machine, which peaked at No.3 in the US album charts.
The rapper's breakthrough came via a memorable guest verse on Snoop Dogg's 1999 bop 'Bitch Please'. The cameo impressed the song's producer Dr. Dre, who offered the 'X-man' a spot on the now legendary Up In Smoke tour, joining a bill that included Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube, Eminem.
"That tour was a turning point in my career," acknowledged X. "I was rocking capacity crowds in arenas across the world, and everyone was feeling what I brought to the table."

The rapper went on to have a successful career in Hollywood too, hosting MTV's Pimp My Ride and hosting the network's European Music Awards alongside film roles in big-screen features like Gridiron Gang and Bad Lieutentant.
"Xzibit my man, welcome to the team,” McGregor said in a press release. “We are super excited to represent you and we cannot wait to get to work.”
Greenback Records was launched by the Dublin mixed martial artist in July this year, and is promising to become Ireland’s first major label.
