Another solid, dependable single from the Waiting album, ‘Years Could Go By’ is a bittersweet lament that actually works better as a slow, piano-and-cello weepie (the altrenative version here is culled from a live spot on the, ahem, Gerry Ryan Show) than the medium-paced guitar workout which they’ve chosen as the A-side.
