Well, surprisingly enough, Rihanna’s video for ‘You Da One’ has been controversial not because of its crotch-grabbing raciness or its implied nudity (although there’s plenty of that, so not to worry), but rather because it appears Ms. Fenty pinched the idea from a famed Norwegian photographer. Fashion buffs have spotted that the monochrome lighting tricks look remarkably similar to those favoured by snapper Sølve Sundsbø, and, although the man himself has yet to comment, we reckon she’s been caught polka-dot handed. Possible lawsuits aside, the video for ‘You Da One’ is almost tasteful by Rihanna’s standards, and her performance as a sexy Droog is typically unmissable.
