Yungblud needs one more week to make his upcoming EP "absolutely perfect".
Last week, Yungblud announced the release date for his new EP The Underrated Youth which was set to come out on October 11. However, because he thinks the record is not quite finished yet, the Doncaster singer pushed back the release one week to October 18.
Yungblud posted a video on Instagram and Twitter yesterday to reveal the news, saying, "I was in the studio last night, listening to the EP and it occurred to me that one of the songs isn't quite right yet. And I've got a bit of a favour to ask you. I just want to keep it real with you guys, and I just wanna ask if I can have one more week on the EP".
"Just because I want everything that I release [...] to be absolutely perfect and one of the songs I don't think is yet", he adds.
To make up for the delay, Yungblud will release something else next week and according to the singer, "it's gonna be mental". He also thinks that The Underrated Youth EP is his best work yet, so it's probably worth the wait.
