Purchased tickets will be valid for the new date in August 2021.
After an update in local policy in response to government social distancing guidelines, the organisers of Tullamore festival Yurt City have announced that the event will not be taking place this August and has been postponed to 2021.
Earlier this week, it was announced that large gatherings of 5,000 or more people will be banned until late August or September due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Yurt City's organisers said as recently as yesterday that their festival fell "well below the cap" and they planned to move forward with the event, however they were made aware of an update in local policy late last night that forced them to postpone. Tickets for this August are valid for the new date next year.
In a statement on Facebook, they wrote: "We are extremely disappointed that this year's event has had to move. Work for Yurt City goes on all year round and we were so excited to grow our small boutique event and welcome some new faces with some old friends."

"Like everyone, we are adapting to this ever-moving global situation," they continued. "While this party is postponed and we can't be together right now hope is at the end of the tunnel and by working together and supporting local businesses and artists we will overcome and dance again."
