Jazz group Zrazy will play a Nuala O Faolain memorial concert at the National Concert Hall next week.
Ireland’s leading jazz act Zrazy will perform in the John Field Room in the National Concert Hall on Monday September 1 at 8pm in a concert dedicated to the memory of the late writer and journalist Nuala O Faolain who died early this year.
Zrazy are expected to perform a set blending jazz, latin, torch, swing, groove and Irish trad.
Other dates for the band are: Dolan's, Limerick Jazz Society (September 17); Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire. (September 21, Call 01-231 2929 to book); Cork Jazz Festival, Festival Club, Metropole, Cork (1pm, October 25).
The Zrazy line-up includes Maria Walsh on vocals, flute, percussion; Carole Nelson on piano; Paul Williamson on trumpet; Martin Gruet on double bass and Keith Barry on drums.
