Gardaí are investigating a fatal one-punch assault which occurred in Whitehall, Dublin last Sunday morning.
The victim, who was taken to Beaumont hospital for treatment, passed away yesterday because of the injuries he sustained.
Police are investigating if the attack followed a road age incident which involved a motorbike.
It’s currently believed that a motorcyclist had to swerve in order to avoid a collision with the car that the victim was in.
This resulted in a confrontation which led to the victim being assaulted by the motorcyclist, who later fled from the scene of the incident.
