As the Bob Dylan song goes, The Times They Are a-Changin'. Ireland now has its first ever cannabis café.
A Waterford city café called Blooms Café is now selling "high quality cannabis", which they are offering for sale online too.
However, in order to not to break any Irish law, the café sells cannabis that has a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content below the legal limit of 0.2%.
But while their products contain little THC, their cannabis does contain high levels of cannabidiol which is known to cause feelings of relaxation.
They explain on their Facebook page: "High CBD strains are perfect for those who want a relaxing and calming experience , but do not want the mind altering effects that is caused by THC, the compound found in illegal cannabis.

"CBD does not impair mental function or increase heart rate and is non-toxic. It is proven not to be addictive, it is natural to our bodies and natural to every climate on the planet.
"It is ideal for the fast moving society that we live in and it can be understood to be like aromatherapy or herbology. It is a plant that is full of beautiful flavonoids and terpenes like lavender or limonene etc."
"We specialise in high quality cannabis and coffee," Blooms Café has announced on its Facebook page. "We have strong ethics for the Earth and its habitants, so we only serve vegan food and organically grown cannabis.
"All of our cannabis strains are 100% legal, high-CBD and below the legal limit of 0.2% THC. Our cafe is located at 50 John Street, Waterford.
"We ship to any country where CBD is legal, and will constantly be adding new strains to our menu."
