Cardi B slammed for new music video 'Twerk' in #MeToo era
Cardi B has hit back at the well-known video columnist Stephanie Hamill, who criticised the rapper, singer and songwriter's latest music video.
A row has erupted between Cardi B and the video columnist, Stephanie Hamill, over the video to accompany the single 'Twerk' – which has just been released by City Girls feat Cardi B.
The controversy arose when Stephanie Hamill criticised the video on Twitter, for its sexual nature – posing the question: "How exactly does this empower women?" Hamill is a former 'advisor' for the so called National Diversity Coalition for Trump – a man who, of course, is known the world over for everything he has done to 'empower' women!
The suggestion is that the video is somehow inappropriate in the #MeToo era. In effect, in her tweet, Hamill was questioning the artists' use of revealing outfits in the video. However Cardi B – never one to take a dissing lying down – has responded in kind, and seems to be winning the debate hands down! Then again, Cardi B is a veteran of a variety of scraps, both physical and online, including with Tomi Lahren and Nicki Minaj.
In the Era of #meToo how exactly does this empower women?
Leftists, @iamcardib , feel free to chime in.

Theus, the rapper hit back sin no uncertain terms! "It says to women," she asserted, " that I can wear and not wear what ever I want do w.e I want and that NO still means NO. So Stephanie chime in..If I twerk and be half naked does that mean I deserve to get raped and molested ? I want to know what a conservative woman like you thinks."

Those words are not written lightly. Cardi B – who has had three US Billboard Hot 100 No.1s – is a strong advocate of gun control and she encouraged fans to vote for Bernie Sanders, warning them against Donal Trump's immigration policies.
In an impressive show of solidarity, Cardi B's fans backed the artist in this latest face-off, going to the trouble of explaining to Hamill the difference between sexual expression and the kind of sexual harassment and assault that sparked the #MeToo movement.
