Organisers of the march said of the clash that "We're not going to let these backwards, far-right forces force us off the streets".
Dublin's Trans and Intersex Pride has announced a new starting time for their march which is due to take place on July 13.
The march is now scheduled to take place at 12pm at The Garden of Remembrance.
Sharing the news on social media, the organisers said that the new date was taking place due to "an anti-migration protest happening at the same time and place as our previous starting time/place".
Continuing, organisers said that they would be taking extra precautions to protect marchers.
The organisers said that as well as rescheduling the parade, they would also have stewards: "We made this decision to best safeguard the most vulnerable members and ensure safety to all of the community! We will have stewards to assist and ensure safety for everyone".
However, the major anti immigration protest was cited as all the more reason that the Trans and Intersex Pride march was needed.
