Should Ireland leave the EU?
I do not think it is a good idea for Ireland to leave the European Union as our net gain since 1973 is around €46 billion and we still continue to pay per annum, less than what we get from EU for developmental projects and support to various groups / communities. EU directives and legislation have helped us to achieve a uniformity of governance structures and it's application among the EU member nations, is another good reason to stay within EU
What should the top rate of income tax be in Ireland?
A reduction in indirect taxes should be tried first as it affects all the people whether in employment or not, whereas the reduction in top rate tax payments will benefit only a few.

Do you support the introduction of a carbon tax?
Carbon tax can be introduced as carbon permit which will allow a free quota to all our citizens before being taxed on access use which will mostly exempt households but might apply to commercial entities after they go over their allowance threshold. It will also meet our obligation for climate change control as a responsible nation .
Are you in favour of exclusion zones around clinics providing abortion services?
Exclusion zones around clinics providing abortion service is a sequel to the recently repealed 8th Amendment which has been taken up by Mr. Harris, the Minister of Health, to legislate a protective measure. I do not think it will be necessary if all stakeholders agree to a mutually acceptable operational solution.

Should injection centres be legalised?
I am in favour of injection centres, as the sterile procedures will help all users by replacing contaminated needles and end the practice of needle sharing.
Do you support transgender rights?
I fully support transgender rights as the LGBT group are equally a part of our society as any other group.
Would you support an end to Direct Provision while supporting refugees coming to Ireland?

As per the global norms, we as a progressive and democratic society are obliged to give shelter to genuine refugees from war torn areas but direct provision support stretches our resources. An alternate solution needs to be put in place.
Should Ireland boycott the Eurovision in Tel Aviv?
The lawmakers remarks and the ensuing protest brought this to public attention. Hopefully , the government will make an official announcement that we are committed to a permanent solution, acceptable to both parties in the middle east.
Should marijuana be legalised?
I do think it will be logical to legalise marijuana as the law, to allows its use on a case by case basis mostly related to its medicinal effect.

Should tech firms like Facebook and Twitter be subject do the same laws as other media and publishers?
Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter have not been successful in self regulation and I think the same law for other media and publishers should be applied to them.
Are you in favour, in the long term, of a United Ireland?
I am in favour, in the long term, of an United Ireland provided that there is an amicable settlement by all parties to it.

Who should replace John Delaney as CEO of the FAI?
Frankly speaking , I do not know who will replace John Delaney as the CEO of the FAI as the whole board has offered to resign.
