The first official lecture of the MIX Course 2020 kicks off tomorrow night.
Ahead of the first set of Music Industry Xplained (MIX) lectures kicking off tomorrow, February 12, the acclaimed course was featured in a discussion about the music scene on Ireland AM this morning, on Virgin Media One.
Hot Press's Lucy O'Toole joined Keywest's Andy Kavanagh and Brave Giant's Emmet Collum (who is currently enrolled in MIX 2020) on the Ireland AM couch, to discuss the current state of the Irish music scene and the importance of artists and bands educating themselves through courses like MIX.
MIX, now in its 20th year, is an internationally recognised course, and offers invaluable, first-hand knowledge from leading industry experts who know all the workings of today’s music business – including publishing, promotion, record labels, artist management, visuals, production, radio/media, accounts, brand identity, accounts and much more.
Following an introductory lecture on February 5, the first set of MIX 2020 lectures will kick off tomorrow, February 12, and run every Wednesday for 13 weeks at the Sound Training College in Temple Bar, Dublin.
There are limited spots remaining on the course, so secure your place now!
