If you don't like the situation you are in, do something about it! That seems to be the message behind a petition which argues that the winner of hte popular vote should become President of the United States
The strong anti-Trumper, Lady Gaga, has urged fans to sign a petition that could change the fate of America. Numerous celebrities – and a major portion of the US electorate – are hoping that it just might be possible to do something to block the appointment of the billionaire businessman before the Electoral College vote on December 19th.
People can access the petition online at Change.org. The form already has more than 2.3 million signatures and advocates dumping Trump because he is "unfit to serve...Secretary Clinton WON THE POPULAR VOTE and should be President."
The day after the results, Gaga stood outside Trump Tower early in the morning with a sign reading, "Love trumps hate." Hopefully the petition, which the singer shared on Thursday, will do more to change minds than the sign did.
