Taking to the stage with a bang, metaphorically and quite literally, singer/rapper/drummer Anderson .Paak performed at the Olympia Theatre last night for the first of two shows.
Joined by his band, The Free Nationals, Brandon Paak Anderson had the the crowd feeding him energy from the get-go and he was giving it right back. Kicking off the sold out performance with a crowd favourite 'The Chase', he had the crowd moving and bouncing to the smooth rhythms.
Progressing with more energetic tunes such as 'Smile' and 'Trippy', between jets of CO2 every member of the audience was there to party. The singer also had every member of the hyped up crowd lighting up the theatre with their phone during his fittingly named track 'Glowed Up', which was a truly phenomenal site to see.

The intense energy continued as the Californian born performer launched himself off the stage into the crowd, getting caught with a roar of excitement by eager fans. He duly surfed his way through the first verse of 'Heart Don't Stand', before hoping up on the barrier to continue with the set.
As he swapped between drumming and dancing along side his fast-paced lyrics, Anderson put on one an enthralling show. If you're heading tonight - get excited.
