"One of the lucky ones" Miley Cyrus loses her home in California due to the devastating wildfires.
After two wildfires destroyed many homes in California, Miley Cyrus considers herself "one of the lucky ones" despite losing her home. Authorities have confirmed that 30 people have died due to the wildfires, making it the most destructive fire in US history. The fires spread over 70,000 acres in California.
The singer took to Twitter sharing her thoughts on how the fires affected the community. Cyrus is "completely devastated", but grateful that her pets and the "LOVE OF MY LIFE", referring to her husband Liam Hemsworth, are safe.

'Blurred Lines' singer Robin Thicke, Fair City actor Victor Burke and actor Gerard Butler also lost their homes to the wildfires.
Irish actor Victor Burke thought everyone was "exaggerating" at first. He and his family didn't move until they spotted the fires coming over the hills, saying they moved "football fields" closer every five minutes. Burke has been living in Malibu for three years and is now staying in a nearby hotel. The actor explained many people don't understand much of Malibu is rural and only has one way in and out.
