History comes to life.
Ireland's only immersive theatre experience, The Vaults live offers a truly unique chance to meet and greet with characters lifted from the thrilling chronicles of Irish history.
Set across four floors in a refurbished schoolhouse in Merchants Quay, you are let loose into stunningly detailed 360° sets, to meet with an array of figures from Ireland's past - each one reeling you in with their own fascinating tale.
The show begins with a welcome by their intriguing Greeter, ushering you into Sister Brigid's den of potions and herbs, to be regaled with tales of Banshees and wonder.
It's not long before you come face to face with resident Viking, furnished with a ship, axe, and IKEA jokes aplenty and one of Cromwell's torturers, still conversing with the Irish land-owners he slaughtered (or their heads anyway).
You'll wander unsuspectingly into the courtroom of the gavel-happy Judge only too keen to sentence you to transportation, be brought along the streets of old Dublin by the one and only Molly Malone, not to mention the crypt where Bram Stoker fearfully awaits his fate...
Sure to draw in tourists and entice thrill-seekers, this is an attraction that has something for everyone. Whether herbalists' cave, torturer's dungeon, courtroom or crypt, the sets are designed with painstaking detail, so that no matter what corner you find yourself in, you are transported back in time along with the characters who occupy them.
