Best friends and band mates Craig, Brian and Andy newly released single 'Fire is Love' is already making waves across Ireland and the UK. Following the success of SAARLOOS' previous single 'Changes', the new number was quickly picked up by Spotify's 'New music Friday' playlist.

Having been great friends with fellow Irish man Gavin James for years, growing and learning together as friends and in their careers, some similarities in their music can be definitely heard. However the beautifully crafted lyrics clearly stand out as both Craig Gallagher and Brian McGovern have put the time in as solo writers before coming together as a band, creating something really special with their lyrics. The trio are currently packing their bags in preparation to catch up with Gav on the continent, where they will be supporting him on the European leg of his tour.

While 'Fire is Love' initially seems to be a heart warming and happy piece, on a deeper listen it becomes clearer that the song's message is that fire is love, it can keep you warm but if you get too close it can burn you. A rather morbid reality.

If SAARLOOS keep releasing great songs like this, there's little doubt that they will soon be headlining European tours of their own!
