Amble trio set Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre alight. Robbie Cunningham (vocals and guitar), Oisin Mc Caffrey (guitar, Keyboard and vocals), and Ross Mc Nerney (mandolin and guitar) were back in Kilkenny on Saturday night and after their soldout gig at the Set Theatre in March the boys returned for an outdoor evening at the picturesque setting of Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre. The first highlight was Tipperary native Seánie Bermingham. The folk singer-songwriter originally from Mullinahone but now based in Dublin got the night off to a start mesmerizing the crowd with his stunning voice. In front of a packed arena, Amble took to the stage at 9pm and lead singer Robbie Cunningham confessed it was his first time playing a gig that he wasn't able to play guitar as he had hurt his wrist recently. Seánie Bermingham came to the rescue as he joined the lads for the night. During a night of highlights, Ross Mc Nerney was presented with a birthday cake as he celebrated his 30th birthday to loud cheers from the crowd.
