Acclaimed Irish band Bell X1 brought the South Tipperary-based When Next We Meet music festival to climax on Sunday night with a crescendo of amazing music and lights. Songs that roll off the tongue like 'Velcro', 'Upswing', 'Defector', and 'Lobster' their loyal following singing along to Paul Noonan's every word and a phenomenal lights display all in front of a packed Raheen House Hotel.
As the weather gods continued to be kind the entertainment got underway on Sunday afternoon on the Hidden Gems Stage with Ruairí de Leastar, Eve Whelan, and The Wood of O. As the attention moved to the main stage the grounds of Raheen House Hotel were already beginning to fill. The first highlight of the evening was Tipperary native Seánie Bermingham. The folk singer-songwriter originally from Mullinahone but now based in Dublin got the night off to a start mesmerizing the crowd with his stunning voice. The hypnotic sound carried through to the next artist The Line aka Brian Dillon. With a mixture of passionate vocals, interlaced with electronic music, Line took the night to the next level. The alternative theme was echoed as When Next We Meet welcomed Rachael Lavelle. Again electronic music formed the base for Rachael but her serene understated yet majestic voice had the crowd in awe as they watched.

The night belonged to Bell X1 however as they yet again showed their supreme talents and why they are so loved. Their encore of 'Defector' and 'Lobster' brought the curtain down on the June celebrations of music in Clonmel for another year.
