The expression ‘less is more’ springs to mind when you attend a Christy Moore concert. There’s no pyrotechnics, no dancing, there’s not even a band to back the living legend. It’s just the man himself, his guitar, and a bottle of water. But what you do get is 100% performance, 100% passion, and 100% dedication to his audience and the music. On Saturday night Christy delivered yet again on Lee side, Live at the Marquee, Cork in front of a sold-out seated arena. The Kildare man underlined his place as the grandmaster of Irish folk music.
