Watch the always dapper and genial William Doyle in conversation.
He's made one of the albums of the year thus far in Culture Of Volume and is now a two-time visitor to Hot Press festival tent, so it's fair to say we have massive love for William Doyle.
After charming the Forbidden Fruit Speakeasy earlier in the summer, the East India Youth mainman popped by the Hot Press Chatroom, suited and booted as ever, for an entertaining chinwag at Electric Picnic.
Check out the video below to see his musings on having Russian fan pages dedicated to you, how the docklands of London and "monuments to capitalism" informed his latest LP, recording in his dressing gown, the genius of Bowie's 'Heroes' and how he usually shops at Marks & Spencer for his suits. "I've only got one nice one..." he tells Olaf Tyaransen. "Hopefully Paul Smith will hook me up."
The other option he saw open to him? Slipping into Interpol's Stradbally dressing room and nicking theirs.
Oh, and fans of East India Youth will be heartened to hear his tentative plans for a Dublin show some time in November. Watch this space...
