After touring across America and the UK, Inhaler make their Dublin homecoming with a two-night stint at The Button Factory.
In just under nine months, Dublin's Inhaler have gone from a measly night at The Academy Green Room to back-to-back sold-out gigs at The Button Factory. In between, they've smashed sets at Indiependence and Electric Picnic, signed to Polydor Records, and headlined at Whelan's. Needless to say, they're quickly becoming the real deal. The first night of their residency at The Button Factory was tight in every regard – not only was the venue packed to the brim, but clearly the band's extensive touring has helped them perfect their sound.
They played three of their released tunes – 'It Won't Always Be Like This', 'Ice Cream Sundae', and 'My Honest Face' – and a handful of new ones. We can only hope their debut record is chugging along, because there were some absolute bangers tossed in the mix last night.
Inhaler play again tonight at The Button Factory and Hot Press will be in the middle of the action, as always, so check back tomorrow for a full report!
