The duo are back with a song about youth, love, and trust.
Mercury Prize shortlisters, Jungle, have released a brand-new single and music video, 'Truth'.
Propelled by a driving Motorik rhythm, a punk-infused energy, and bright vocal harmonies, 'Truth' is a new direction for the duo. Filled with hooky melodies, the track is a danceable and energetic celebration of love, youth, and trust.
This release is the fourth single from their upcoming album, Loving In Stereo, the follow-up to 2018's Forever, due for release on August 13.
The LP is set to be a visual album, consisting of 14 videos shot over five days – a gruelling production schedule that "imbibes each video with unrestrained energy" according to a press release.
The music video for 'Truth' was directed by J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido and shot in one continuous take. The camera pans right-to-left, revealing different characters as it weaves between rooms. Each character dances in their own unique style, creating a fun and compelling narrative that matches the song's energy.
"'Truth' is another moment on the record which came very quickly and naturally," say Jungle duo Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland about their latest track.

"It was the most different sounding thing we had made at the time, and for that reason we couldn’t ignore it. For us it's about...the feeling of finding someone who means more than anything else in the world."
Loving In Stereo is available for pre-order here.
