KT Tunstall brought a close to her current Irish tour with an epic display in Cyprus Avenue, Cork City last night. Having already played Dublin on Sunday and Galway on Monday the Scottish singer rounded off a hat-trick of sell-out gigs with an astonishing performance. Cyprus Avenue, Cork City's premier music venue, was jam-packed with KT fans making the journey from Limerick, Kerry, Wexford, and of course, the rebel County. From further afield was a group from Germany who couldn’t miss the opportunity to see their favourite star.
Bursting on stage it was straight into “I am the Pilot” and quickly followed by “Dear Shadow”. Then came a shout from the renowned performer “Come on Cork… Hello CYPRUS AVENUE!, we’re just after having two great nights in Dublin and Galway and this looks unbelievable already. I’m amazed, thank you all for coming, it’s a Tuesday night and this place is packed. OK let’s get this night going". With that, it was into ‘Other side of the World’. There was a mixture of old and new throughout the night including ‘The River’, ‘Hard Girls’, and ‘Black Horse’. The gig was completed with an encore of ‘Out of Touch' and ‘Suddenly I See’.
