It was a case of hit-after-hit-after-hit as the North London nutty boys treated the capacity crowd to a career spanning set featuring two Prince Buster ska classics ('One Step Beyond’ and ‘Madness’) and such fan favourites as ‘Baggy Trousers’, ‘House of Fun’, ‘Our House’ and ‘Wings of a Dove’. Meanwhile the spectacle of several thousand red Fez hats happily bobbing in calypso time to their instrumental hit ‘Return of the Los Palmas 7’ truly was a delightful sight to behold on a balmy Saturday night. With the party already in full swing guitarist Chris Foreman instigated a full-on sing-song of The Dubliners’ hit ‘Seven Drunken Nights’ while frontman Suggs and saxophonist Lee Thomson engaged in a constant pantomime while a crowd of all ages, shapes and sizes skanked along to their hearts’ delight
