Pete Doherty at Opium (Photos)
With a career spanning set, the likeable libertine held the capacity crowd in the palm of his hand. Taking the form of a casual acoustic sing-song, the performance featured classics as ‘Can't Stand Me Now’, ‘What Became of the Likely Lads’ (The Libertines), ‘East of Eden’ (Babyshambles) and more recent songs ‘Hell to Pay at the Gates of Heaven’ and ‘The Last Dream’. For a considerable part of the set he was accompanied on fiddle by the talented Cathal Caufield of support act Kú.
