Soul, funk and RnB man JJ Bloom treats us to the video premiere of his debut solo single, 'Always You', which is out on April 10.
The 23-year-old has already had quite the adventure with the band he was previously in, Dúlamán, making it to the final of Germany’s Got Talent and subsequently releasing a well-received album there through Sony.
The Artist Also Known As Conor McQuaid has co-written two songs, ‘I Won’t Be Leaving’ and ‘Supernatural’, with Jake Carter and ventured to France as a pen for hire but is now keen to establish himself as a force in his own right.
His cause will be helped no end by ‘Always You’, a supercool summer pop single which finds him taking to the ice at The Rink in D12 in the video.
That he’s a massive Daryl Hall & John Oates and cycling shorts-era Style Council fan is no big surprise given the effortless groove.
