Buckle-up for a desert ride in a '50s Cadillac!
Commended by Christy Moore for his "great vocals and harmonies", Mayo singer Jamie Mulrooney, AKA Doppler, releases his new single, 'A Memory', tomorrow.
Ahead of that we're delighted to premiere the accompanying video by award-winning filmmaker Bill Moldt who's currently based in Los Angeles.
The promo grabs the lyrics and takes us for a winding stop-motion spin through the desert in a 1950s Cadillac.
A former winner of the coveted IMRO Clancy Brothers Songwriting Competition, Doppler has shared the stage with the likes of Gavin James, Neil Hannon, Cathy Davey, The Blizzards, The Saw Doctors, Jackie Beverly and even played with Bonehead from Oasis on a couple of occasions.
He's also teamed up with Music Generation to host Ceile Ukulele, a programme that teaches 800 children a week in national schools.
Doppler wrote 'A Memory' in order to showcase "“the struggle to stay positive. How memories can change over time and what you once thought was important can turn out to be insignificant when things change.”
