The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi is a busy man. A new album with his second band CRX is on its way.
Following 'We're All Alone', 'Falling' is the second single off CRX's upcoming sophomore album Peek, set to release on August 23.
The newly released music video for 'Falling' was directed by Kansas Bowling and inspired by Japanese writer Haruki Murakami who is famous for his surrealistic storytelling. The visuals show a young woman walking around differently decorated sets and also feature a goat and a cat.

CRX was formed in 2016 by Nick Valensi who is now joined by Darian Zahedi on guitar, Jon Safley on bass, Ralph Alexander on drums and Brad Oberhofer on keyboard. Following the critically acclaimed debut album New Skin and sold-out North American and European tours, the Strokes guitarist headed back in the studio with his new bandmates in 2017 to work on new music.
The second time around, Valensi depended more on the new band members, as he explains: "The influence of Darian and Jon was prevalent in the recording and arrangement. I was more controlling on the first record. This is everybody in the room."
Meanwhile, Nick Valensi is going to be headlining this year's Electric Picnic with The Strokes. The festival takes place from August 30 to September 1.
