The up-and-coming Irish band treats us to an exclusive performance of two of their songs
The Dublin-based rock band trio, Voxx, has made waves recently, and is back for another one of Hot Press's Storeroom Sessions.
In the past, the Irish band has played our Jagermeister Freezer Sessions, and was nominated by us as the Most Promising Act of 2015.
According to Voxx's Facebook page, the band is inspired by Ziggy & The Spider's From Mars' Space Boots, Jim Morrison's Leather Pants, Michael Hutchence's Hair, Keith Richards' Satin Shirt, Bryan Ferry's Tiger Jacket, and Marc Bolan's Eyeshadow - all of these being original and iconic physical features that fans have recognised from musicians.
The up-and-coming Dublin rockers have made appearances at Whelan's, The Grand Social and The Workmans Club. The group has also performed at this year's Electric Picnic, INDIEPENDENCE Music & Arts Festival and Killarney Festival, and has swept fans off their feet with their unique sound and style.
