The Emmy-nominated (take note British media) Irish actor is also on the telly tonight in Channel 5's The Deceived
The Rolling Stones have announced the Thursday night premiere of the video for 'Scarlet', the new old song that features on the upcoming special edition of their classic Goat's Head Soup album. It stars Irishman of the moment Paul Mescal who can also be seen tonight in Channel 5's The Deceived, a Gothic thriller from then pen of Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee.
Featuring alongside him in the tale of a philandering Donegal lecturer, his young amour and a writer wife with a dark secret are Emily Reid and Emmett J Scanlan.
Mescal and McGee have also joined the avalanche of tributes to John Hume, with tweets that can be seen below.
