Give 'Put 'Em Under Pressure' a lash in honour of Ireland's greatest ever manager...
As Jack Charlton is laid to rest today in Newcastle, Irish radio is coming together at 12.30 to play the 1990 World Cup song, 'Put 'Em Under Pressure', the opening bars of which still put goosepimples on your goosepimples.
We're sure that no right-minded partner, neighbour, employer, bus-full of people, total stranger etc. etc. would object to you blasting it out at full volume, and doing the accompanying ooh-aah noises.
Let the footballing anthem of anthems ring out throughout the land in honour of the one and only Big Jack!
I'm thrilled that I'm the one on air today on @RTEGold at 12.30 and will get to play this in the memory of Jack Charlton.
Tune in and we can all sing along together ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ https://t.co/t9VHwRpnYN— Rick O'Shea (@rickoshea) July 21, 2020
