Oh to be young again, start from the bottom, do your first international tour, meet your music idols (Rory Gallagher and Bono looking casual there!) and taste the waters of the music industry. None of this could have been possible if Larry Mullen’s dad wouldn’t have encourage the U2 drummer to put an ad in 1976 looking for musicians to form a band. That spark started a fire of wild days with rehearsals, recordings, photoshoots, interviews like the one with Hot Press’ Bill Graham in the US and massive shows like their very first Slane performance.
