"An emotional reunion" with Olaf Tyaransen following their Main Stage set at Electric Picnic.
Almost exactly a year on from their last public chinwag with Olaf Tyaransen, The Strypes arrived at a packed Hot Press Chatroom on Friday to talk about their 2014 and much more besides.
Over the course of the interview, we learnt that they reckon Hozier is "way too tall", the main perk of being in The Strypes is that you "never have to pay for socks" and that they're not interested in celebrity or cliched rock 'n' roll partying.
Also on the agenda was their trips to America and Japan – Josh McClorey joking that to do Japanese interviews, they need a translator to go from Culchie to English, then another translator for English to Japanese, and back again – and their plans to record their second album.
See how it all went down for yourself...
