All the high notes are hit on a brilliant version that's going viral!
Fresh from releasing his fourth album, There’s A Waltz in April – the socially distanced launch gig is hopefully happening in the Dublin Workman’s on August 14 – Ultan Conlon has just premiered the cracking cover he’s recorded with fellow singer-songwriter Jack O’Rourke.
“I was delighted when Jack O'Rourke reached out and suggested we use some of this time at home to collaborate on a duet,” Ultan tells Hot Press. “He suggested Roy Orbison’s classic 'I Drove All Night'. We both played our respective parts, matched them up and posted the finished track on social media late Friday evening. Two days later and it's jotted up over 35,000 views between Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.”
Trying to match the majesty of the Big O is no easy task, but the lads do a cracking job with all the high notes hit. Keep scrolling down for Jack O'Rourke's thoughts on Peter Green.
